Not the most cosmopolitan entry, and no pics as that would be a bit noncey, but judging by the gear worn by the kids at the two teams my son goes training at, Chelmsley Wood is now a Villa stronghold.

I met a Bari fan last night. He wasn't arsed about Platt, but thought the world of Sid.

A few years back I climbed Carrauntoohil alongside a Villa fan and his family from Texas. The journey up and down was made all the more pleasant by swapping Villa stories. We’re everywhere!

I am living on a little Greek Island since 2004. There was only one other Villa fan, sadly, he passed away last year.

Hence, I am now on H&V for the Villa banter.

RIP Andy.

There’s an Austin Villa supporter’s club in Texas mainly consisting of locals.

Thread resurrection.

Today I drove past Dawlish United’s ground, there was Saturday training going on for the kids, 3 of the 4 adult coaches were wearing Villa tops.

We are massive.

I was the only one on Kos when I was living there from 2003-2004.

Apart from all the students I converted to the Villa cause that is!

Does Scotland count? In the queue for coffee at the Landmark Centre nr Aviemore and encountered a family of Villans (cazoo top). Opening gambit - as always with me - is to sing "Every week we follow..." and see if they join in.

The Dad did, kids looked extremely embarrassed, as well they might.

Then from the kitchen behind the serveover came a strongly Scots accented "We've got McGinn".

Magic 👍

Ha, class. The kids couldn't have resisted that one, surely. A bit of Sco'ish authority for ye wee laddies...

Och aye! We saw each other a few times through the day thereafter.

Highlight was receiving a "Yippee Aye Ay" 😀
