How we played so well with Hassan Kachloul and Mustapha Hadji I'll never know

I was a Mustapha Hadji fan.  Was I alone in this?

Hadji and Kachloul. The pointless pair of show ponies.

Schmeichel was an awful signing, used to go down in stages, replacing James with old red nose was a dreadful decision imo.

I think that one was one of Doug's wasn't it? I was at Villa Park around the time of the press conference and the Villa shop had his shirt printed and behind the counter, I didn't know what was going on. As my cousin and I were driving out the ground Doug pulled up along side us with Schmiechel in the front and my cousin let the old bugger in while we had to wait, I still give him shit about it.

Kachloul was great for the first couple of months. Then a H&Ver sold him a piano (John M's current housemate if I'm not mistaken) and it was all downhill from there.

Watching the Saints game is a real Proustian rush - I was at uni at the time and I watched it in a bar on London Road, Leicester, with a Forest-supporting mate. It was one of these pointless wine bars and I went bananas every time we scored, much to the chagrin of the guy playing a gig on his acoustic guitar. Happy days.
