I wouldn't. I was sick of him and glad he's gone.

So, we appoint Jol and in another 3 months he isn't doing any better will the same lunatics be calling for his head?

I can't speak for the lunatics but I'd imagine if the first time he went back to WHL he was content enough to walk down memory lane, blow kisses at the Tottenham fans and say after the game he doesn't mind losing to Tottenham it might cause a bit of a fallout, yeah.

Is there any other supporters in the country who would accept that kind of behaviour?

You under estimate yourself, Kevin, you're more than capable of speaking for the lunatics. <wink>

I think the stuff the other night although unwise has been blown out of proportion and he's made an effort to put things right so as far as I'm concerned that draws a line under it.

Mangers are judged on results and I don't believe that three months is long enough time to make any sort of informed decision. If you also add in the nature of his appointment and the unprecedented run of injuries he's had to contend with then it becomes even more ludicrous.

So have the Geordies got the world renowned Alan Pardew in as manager or not?

I love how people like to spin it that you're the one with the irrational point of view on here.

Maurino apart is there any manager that we would be confident of improving us, the only one i can think of is (and i choke on my vomit as i say it) is Redknapp. He is the only manager in the Prem that i would be confident of improving us. Helmet on.

I was just reading that Pardew's contract is not as daft as it looks, he's on a basic of £450k pa with large bonuses for success. If they sack him it going to cost them £2m.
