If I were Randy Lerner I would be making a call to Martin Jol. Gerard is not a Villa man and the form show. It is disgraceful performance.

I am disgusted with all senior players performance this season apart from Stuart Downing.

Whether there has been worse performances in recent times is immaterial. The reality is we're up to our necks in it.

I'm already looking back longingly at the golden age when we "only" used to finish sixth.

Easily the worst Liverpool side I've seen.
Yes, and I can't begin to imagine what all the 'dipper fans are saying about us.

Delfouneso is looking good.

We are a shambles, we need new players in every position.

The ironic thing is we got annoyed last season for ONeill not using the squad, well Houiller is being forced to use more of the squad and we are utter pish!

Exactly.

It's been enforced on Houllier but maybe, just maybe, MON saw these kids weren't good enough.

It clearly would've been a different story to bring one or two in with the experienced players but we're currently being completely shown up by an average Liverpool side with a team full.

This is poor to say the least. It's not event he talent anymore. It's like they don't believe. The one thing about MON teams is that he somehow managed to make his players play beyond their abilities. Now these players are being exposed for what they actually are on top of lacking all confidence. The more experienced pros have gone missing and it's killing us.

Unfortunately - this is spot on

Honeymoon period over for GH - think what we like about MON (as he the focal point and a twat to boot) but the coaching staff did a better job than any of us realised - until now

Injuries havenot helped - but in reality Petrov (and now Bannan who is worth his place) are the only two who will give us more than the crap on show tonight - heaven forbid we hold out for Sidwell/Heskey.

We have seen enough last season to know they are not as bad as they are palying now - but our Franchman needs to start earning his corn.

Final point - and apols if this get the stating the bleedin obvious award - but selling Milner seems such a mistake, sure he wanted to go - but if we hadn't sold him he would have knuckled down - the few extra million we got for him doesn't seem much value considering what is happening on the field (he was the glue) and how much it may cost us to get a player half as effective

Everything about this game has been horrible...Houillier, OUR MANAGER, publically showing he loves Liverpool more than he will ever love us....a Liverpool team without their best and most important three players destroying us without even having to break sweat....and a complete lack of passion, skill, desire in our players, no physical or mental toughness....horrible, just truly, horrible.

Easily the worst Liverpool side I've seen. Certainly the worst Villa performance since Randy took over. I hope it jolts us out of our reverie. Things need to change, and quick.

Point taken.

Worse than the Chelsea debacle?

Yep, because Chelsea weren't a bad side. This lot are shit are they're pissing all over us like a bloated racehorse with a weak bladder.
