Bannan, if he is out will be a big loss, so i'd go for this.

Beye      Cuellar      Collins     L.Young

Gabby       Warnock       Clark     Downing

Clampy, that team is probably the last one I'd have picked at the start of teh season but it's probably our best chance of getting something although I'd swap Gabby and Ireland even though Agbonlahor can do a job on the wing.  Are you keeping Ireland out of the way up top perchance?

Was it last season we expected a hammering but instead won 3-1, or was that the season before?

There's always hope anyway!

Same here.
I fully expect to loose this time with some calamatous defending costing us 2 late goals.
2-0 to them.

If Dunne and Collins play, you'll probably be right.

From a great height.

Make sure he lands on Warnock.

Going by the size of him, he'd take out the right back at the same time.

2-0 loss. Pretty football, 50-50 possession. 1st goal 44 mins, 2nd between 80-90mins. GH to look cold, ill and clueless on bench.
Russia to get world cup 2018, Qatar to get 2022, Night to follow day, bears to take their morning shit in woods.

The referee is Phil Dowd (Staffordshire)

It will be his first Villa game since the Carling Cup final, and his well-publicised decision to not send off Vidic. No surprises we have him away - usual precedure after a controversial decision.

His assistants are McDonough (chequered flag) and Turner (yellow flag), while Mark Halsey is 4th official.

3-0 to them.  No chance of us winning up there at the moment.  It may be a while til we are ready to compete at places like Anfield again.  Hope he doesn't rush half fit players back for this one as the WBA game is a real 6 pointer and one we have a realistic chance of winning.

3-1 to them, they'll take the lead around the 20 minute mark, bag a 2nd on 44, Gabby will pull one back on 76, alot of pressure from us before they hit us on the break in injury time, its all a bit predictable of late

I think that alone shows how far we have fallen. Sad times indeed.

Friedel
Beye, Collins, Cuellar, L Young
Ireland, Hogg, Clark, Downing
Gabby, Fonz

Liverpool are a poor side and in normal circumstances we would be looking forward to this game to turn them over.

Cant see anything but a defeat to a late Liverpool goal unfortunately.

Gabby is not an option in midfield but he'll probably play on the left, Downing on the right and Ireland disappeared in a hole next to a statue of Carew. Warnock to spend 5 mins rolling around the ground 'in agony', Dunne and Collins to continue to struggle and Brad Friedel to move across the goal in slow motion for Kyriagokos late header.
