They will be desperate to get the game on as its a good time to play us.

IF its called off, I assume it will be put back at least 2 weeks due to us playing next Monday..? Therefore that may really suit us as we'd have a couple more players back.

I've got a half day at work on Weds which I'd hate to take if the game is then called off. Do you think we'll know either way by 12/1pm  on the Weds?

Also wouldn't it be in the police's interest to just get this match over and done with? Especially if it's true that there is over 500+ police on duty for this one.

Does anyone know if pubs / bars / german market are going to be open in town on the day?
Am hoping to grab an early dinner and some beers before walking to the fucking pigsty.

THE CITY IS OUUUURRRRRSSS 8)

only 10 years ago there would be no talk of calling a game off because of bad weather unless it affected the playing surface, now a bit of snow and every one is talikng about calling the game off, the health and safety society has taken over FFS get  grip

I can't see this game being called off unless we have serious snow over the next 24 hours.

Them 5 - 5 Us AET

Them: Dugarry (3) & Guivarc'h (2)
Us: Henry, Petit, Pires, Vieira & Zidane

Them 0 - 1 Us PK

Some French lass scored the winning penalty in sudden death after the first 14 penalties were either missed, saved or disallowed.  Might be Lilian.

I work in Aston and having just check the Met Office it's heavy snow forecast at 6pm tonight followed by more heavy snow in the middle of the night then lighter snow from 3am onwards so we could have a shitload

I can remember games being called off in the '80s because the Holte was too icy.

hope the cold puts the thugs off and they stay indoors.

otherwise if the council are serious about health and safety they should be handing out stab vests to villa fans after we win the penalty shoot out.
