If I was a lower league team, I'd prefer to get into the 4th Round against similar opposition, then the 5th round against similar opposition etc...

As for our draw, we should win as long as Sheff Utd don't field Sean Bean.

"Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson thinks it is "sad" for the game that his team have drawn Manchester United in the third round of the FA Cup because of the calibre of the two clubs." Hahahaha. Difficult to sympathise, when Villa have drawn ManUre so often in the FA Cup.

Striding round the pitch in the green jacket of the 93rd Rifles, brandishing his superbly accurate Baker rifle and bellowing `Chosen Men!'

Chelsea will play... Clements 83.

Aston Villa will play... Manchester United.

Surely that means the game will be moved to Stamford Bridge, meaning that Chavski will get another easy home draw.

Being the pedantic bastard that I am can I just point out that Clements '83 cannot enter the FA Cup as they don't have floodlights.

Quote fail.

No, they literally are not allowed to enter the FA Cup, you must have floodlights to enter.

And a stand.

By 'eck Pat, I'd raight like t' see that. Though I wouldn't be able to take my buxom posh totty girlfiend who I generally mistreat anywhere near the match.

Excellent! The only game I can walk to. I predicted this when I started seeing my new girlfriend (who is a Sheff Utd fan), so it's my fault.

Must attend this one!

They are really crap this season so far, we should win, which spells trouble............

I'd like to see Sharpe and Harper face the fact that they are passionately in love. It's pretty obvious to me

I have normally got a lot of time for Hodgson but that comment is a load of bollocks.  The beauty of the FA Cup, and the reason it's famous the world over, is because exactly this sort of situation can arise.  No seedings once you're in the hat - it's all fair game.

He should concentrate on working out how not to take an absolute pasting by them.

i think the best way to get the spark back into the domestic trophies is to only let the team who won the premier league and the runners up into the champions league and then the teams who win the league and fa cups have the remaining 2 places, it will rid us of the sky four and teams will not put half strength teams out and will want to win the trophies, if the same team wins the league and a trophy then the runner up will get the space! this is the best way forward.

Sensible ideas like that will get you nowhere

yeah....the crazy fool... ;D

Can't see Millwall v the shit being too much of an issue for the Police. I'll be surprised if there's more than 5 - 600 Blues there, given their shit away support ( by their own admission) of late.

Not a bad draw that, it could have been a lot worse!

Sounds like a plan; I did think I'd be joining her for a pint but it seems I'm 'the enemy' for the day/week/month.
