Strange situation all around.

Seems like the club made the decision and not Ancelotti.   Ancelotti has been going on about what a fantastic job he did and that they were still friends.

I find it hard to believe it was for cost cutting purposes.

He was obviously being used as a glorified interpreter until Ancelotti learned the lingo. They could have handled it with a bit more class though. Chelsea showing a lack of class, what next? Soon teams like Man City and Blues will be acting without class!

its so obvious something is going on here, you dont call in someone like Wilkins at half time of a reserve game and then the bloke walks out immidiately, no hand over, no notice no contolled announcement in the middle of the season,  the story will be out by  sunday

I agree. Would have been far more amazed had the classless chavs been able to handle this with any decorum as 'class' is a word that doesn't ever exist in the same sentence as that lot. I despise and loathe them. Wilkins always seemed a really nice guy too...
