The game must be a midweek fixture - no chance of it being moved to weekend - even west ham v millwall had to play midweek last year.

They could however ban away fans I guess if they are that worried about the game and safety.- highly unlikely though.

WMP love a chance to get really stuck into footballer supporters. I bet they're popping the champagne corks, counting the overtime and requesting novelty sized coshes as we speak.

Ah the myth of overtime.  As with this weekend it'll be cancelation of rest days to cover it.

I know, my post was tongue in cheek. However, I think football fans across the country would agree with me that the accolade of biggest tossers to ever police a football game lies with WMP.  They'll be well up for it.

Had this on Facebook:

Aston Villa FC - Official Villa draw Birmingham City in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup. The match is to be played at St Andrew's on the weekend of November 29.

Weekend?

Already had two of my mates text to say they won't be attending, for obvious reasons.

Super Stone Islandtastic! I can walk from here (possibly run back!). In order not to attract the cavemen I will need to buy a bottle of stink from Poundland, saw off my thumbs, wear a 1988 tracksuit top and randomley shout 'zooolooo'.  Or I might just walk there.

I suppose we had to get drawn against them in a cup competition eventually. Worked out quite nicely last time we played them in the League Cup.
