I like Assou-Ekotto. And Bale.No problem with Lennon or Defoe as it happens. And Dawson and Walker are good defenders. Well, Walker and defending still doesn'tquite fit. I also like Dembele and Parker. Yeah, quite like them. More than fucking Arsenal.

I don't hate them as much as i used to. If you think the media love them now you should have seen it in the 80s. Now i think they've been displaced by Chelsea as the other big club in London so its not as bad. I was jealous of them 4 or 5 years ago when they first played in the champions league. Them overtaking us while we stalled in 6th place was infuriating. Its more bearable now as inspite of all their efforts in recent seasons they won the same amount of trophies as us.

Apart from 'arry I think our dislike of Tottenham comes we see them as a direct competitor due to size of the clubs. We don't want to see them do too well. Other than the media wanking over them what else do we really have to dislike (or care) about them? I think that bias and how the media portrays Everton- also our club size rivals- is one of the main reasons we have a grudging acceptance of their performances and them as a club in general.

And I also remember his dad saying in October/November saying they'd challenge for the title and yet by may that had been magically downgraded to "it will be great to finish in the top 4" when they'd inevitably slump in the run in.
