So, who do you think'll win the Blackburn and Burnley game in the next round of the Carling Cup?

Can you believe we only drew with Wolves?

If you could post on here that would be great! thanks!

No, as I'll be in there wearing a Heskey shirt and afraid you'll be mean to me.

But you are only counting a fraction of the goals Keane has scored in the last 4 years, 42 of 97, that's hardly fair.  You can't ignore 45 extra goals because you don't rate the FA Cup, League Cup, European competitions or internationals.

But Gabby didn't get to play in those games, Keane had the chance to play in all the games Gabby did if we just use the Premier League.

There's no way you can count Internationals.

No he didn't, Keane has had several more injuries and suspensions than Gabby over the last few years.  I forgot Gabby was banned for playing for his country.  You may as well say that Messi is not as good as Harewood, because Harewood has not played enough games to judge.  They have both been footballers with two legs for the past 4 years, so it's appropriate to judge their input into the game.  One has been very promising for Villa, scoring 10-12 goals for 3 years and 16 last yr, and is on the fringes of the national team, but Keane has captained his country, scored numerous goals for his country, played for 3 very large clubs, scored plenty of goals for all of them and has played and scored many goals in both major European competitions.

Keane has captained his country, sure. But his country happens to be the Republic of Ireland, who with the greatest respect do not have forwards like Rooney or Defoe to pick ahead of someone like Gabby. If Gabby were Irish he'd be in their squad faster than even he could run.

Besides, the debate's irrelevant. They're different players with very different roles in any given team.

The only question is how many hat-tricks will Heskey score?

2-0 Spurs.
Probably a penalty and a deflected goal but I can't see us getting anything down there. Their defence is weak but we're not creating too many chances up front. I really hope I'm wrong as I'm having dinner tomorrow night with a Spurs fan and just like all their fans, she'll be giving it large should they win.
