I'm just watching QPR Coventry, Kieron Westwood has made a couple of cracking saves and looks really comanding in the air.

Definatly worth a shout for the money.

Adam being reported on SSN as "wanting to leave" and the reporter saying his team mates cannot believe he is still there .....
He was immense against Sunderland yesterday.
Doubtful, but I hope we get him.

No way would I pay for him, he is free in the summer, Friedel will leave in the summer and there are not any bigger clubs than Villa looking for a keeper next season.

Are we not allowed to do pre contracts with player in the same country?

Westwood would be a good signing for us, both he & Scott Loach of Watford are decent keepers and will be sought after.

It's ok saying wait to the summer and get Westwood on a free but they have already said they have recieved 4 enquiries about him- I expect someone to offer a £1m or so between now and the 31 st jan- I'd be very surprised if he wasn't snapped up by someone this week and we may miss out .

If that's the case then yes buy him now, but I'd let it be known to the club and his agents we are interested (if we are interested).

Neil Warnock was on talksport after the game and said he is an unbeleivable keeper and couldn't believe he wasn't at a prem club already.

According to their chairman ray ransom they have recieved 4 enquiries but no bids have been lodged as yet- we may well be one of the teams linked with him but after today's display I'd hope a bid goes in pretty quick- a keeper worth far more than the small amount he would cost.

Holloway just been on sky saying he would love Charlie Adam to play for Liverpool but anyone interested would have to put a 1 in front of the transfer fee implying he wants £10m at least- I would look elsewhere now as it's pretty clear Liverpool are the team he wants to sell to to save face after saying last week no way will he sell to Aston villa.

Holloway was cringemaking yesterday when talking about Liverpool and their "disgraceful" offer.

That was bad enough, but then he said he didn't think "Kenny" had anything to do with the disrespectful bid, it was Damien Comoli who was out of order.

What a toadying, gobby little shit that man is.
