The days of bidding wars seem to be over. Clubs tend to go for Target B these days.

Thats the best laugh ive had in ages.....klose?as if hes going to sign for villa and benzema, these type of players want european football ffs....come on wake up and smell the coffee...

If you can cream yourself over Robbie Keane and David Bentley, we should be aiming for better, on account we are far. far bigger club than Blue haver aspired to be.

Your true colours are starting to come out, you are a troll and I am not fooled for a second and have not been from the start.
no i aint a troll

If we are going to start calling Sheldon Nose a troll how about we do the same to some of the "Villa" fans that we have on here too? And believe me there are 4/5 that are a lot worse than our Blues supporting member is. (Who, I'd like to point out I don't think is trolling).

We've have a few non-Villa supporting members on this forum (Sendo, the Stokies) who, if they said what Sheldon had said, would be laughed off as banter - just because Sheldon happens to support Birmingham doesn't mean he should be treated any differently to how they are treated.

A lot of people are quick to come out with comments about how they wish there was none of the trouble we get whenever Villa and Blues play each other, but as soon as a Blues fan joins the board who actually wants to take part in some of the debates and comes across as a genuine football fan he gets called all the c***s under the Sun. Would you be saying that if it was a friend of yours and you were having this sort of debate with him down the pub?

This isn't a dig at you Ozz, as you are not the only one who has commented about Sheldon in this way.

Fundamental difference there is that Sendo and a few of the Stoke lot talk a bit of sense. That Sheldon Nose character sounds like a complete arse.

Some of our own on here are like that though.

At least sheldon has the excuse of supporting Birmingham.

The word on the street is quite interesting. If nothing changes -and things can always change, though it is unlikely at this point - a solid player is on his way. I never can read the fans, but I would expect this one to be a popular choice...

Would you then - Ireland +£5m for Bent? If both were on-form I'd rather have our mad hatter. A real shame Houllier couldn't get his head right.

Interesting news pelty- we await with excitement.

Houilier took baros as a 19 yr old and he got him to be a very good player at Liverpool and a class international so maybe like heskey he can get the best out of certain players, stevie g said GED was the manager who helped make him the player he is today- I guess a player has to want it though and Carew with his laidback attitude has the quality but not the attitude to respond- can dee why GED swapped them as he got the best from baros.

The baros under houllier was much better than the baros under mon or dol- as we are seeing from heskey this season.

why would we loan warnock? Dalglish knows him so pay the cash kenny. As for holloway a disrespectful silly little man- when he has won what houllier has won then he have a pop , but looking at his record of sackings holloway looks stupid having a dig at better people and better clubs!

sky are reporting o neill to west ham as manager.

Inter Milan are lining up a £17m summer bid for Manchester City's 29-year-old midfielder Gareth Barry.

Yes. Of course they are.

His record speaks for itself. no major buys from abroad. only 3 in total, 1 of which was swap approach from another club. still if you think MON would have been abroad searching for strikers this transfer window fair enough

Fair's fair, though, what utter fucking mug would swap Carew for Milan Fucking Baros.

mebbe but he's still knocking the goals in unlike carew

Stick Carew in the Turkish league and see what happens.

lots of turkish babies looking a bit like Carew???
