Ignoring the salary fact Adebayor would be a huge improvement on our current crop of strikers.

It would be but his wages will be the stumbling block........he is on £165,000.00 pw and that is way out of our league and Citeh are refusing to subsidise any "loanee's wages". That has scuppered Wayne Bridges move to West Spam

SSN said west ham offered to pay all of Bridge's 87k wages but they want to sell him not loan him.

Adebayor is different because the only clubs in England who could afford his wages are Man City rivals, so they would have to subsidise his wages if he is loaned out in England. He will probably end up in Italy
