Fulham have come in for Sidwell now.....

That's good news then, always good to weaken your immediate rivals.

he was a  very expensive ball boy

Wouldnt mind bentley or keane - both decent players who could add a lot more guile to the team than we saw last night - any news on makoun or cummings yet?

I thought the other coach at Liverpool with Pinnochio and Inspector Closeau was meant to be the secret of their success?

French guy, forgot his name.

Mcallister was Houlliers third effort to get a coach, that in itself didn't bode well.

Spot on. The fact he was taken from a woeful and inept middlesboro also had alarm bells for me.

I wouldn't mind Bentley to be honest.

Me neither. Think he would do really well in our side through the middle with Makoun alongside him. He and Krankjaer are the two I would take from Spurs if they are available. Striker wise Keane is not the answer for us. Need a big guy, with good touch that scores a few. Crouch would probably do well with Houllier! Or Pavylechenko.

Looks permanent.

On the rumours about Cuellar and Collins Snr: I hope they are bollocks. Both are solid players I rate highly and the kind of guys we NEED to have around in any relegation battle. To sell them to rivals would be sheer lunacy. Ballast like Sidwell, Warnock and Davies I could take but our better defenders no.

A cardboard cutout of Alan Wright would be more effective at left back than Warnock and so Bridge would be a welcome signing. But £90fuckinggrand a week?!

Both good full backs. I hope if both are effective they are signed on proper deals. Get makoun, krankjaer and bentdner in too and we will have some options. I would even play swaps with spurs for young at the moment such us his ineffectiveness and our need for more balance in the team and squad.

Bridge wouldn't really be any improvement on Warnock at all. Neither has any positional sense and seems to have much of a brain anymore.

Bridge at over twice the wages of Warnock? It's definitely a no from me.
