I won't renew next year. Had I have purchased tickets this season on a match by match basis using the offers I would have been better off.

Mr. Krulak, Question - though it has possibly been asked before.

Who approved the signing of Stephen Ireland? MON may have supported the Milner/Ireland deal but it was completed after he left. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but buying players without having a manager on board is stupid in the extreme.

'Garnered' from comments from your colleagues Legion.

Corners filled in = better atmosphere.

Having a different opinion to you isn't a crime.

Dave, if I said that grass was green you'd argue against it.

What do you expect when you come out with such ridiculous statements?

General

My question was that I was wondering if the Villa were willing to sponsor me, I am growing a moustache for Movember and its in aid of raising money for prostate cancer research! A worthwile cause im sure you'll agree, I know the Villa do a lot of work for charity with Acorns etc but every penny counts and I guess im just being a bit cheeky. Refusal wont offend

Regards

Phil
Phil have you got a website?

Yes

No laughing now http://uk.movember.com/mospace/690038

From you ? A ridiculous reply and I got it !

You're not as in touch with things Villa as you think you are mate.

How do you think we ought to go about improving the atmosphere ?

( Constructive thinking awaits ?? )

Quite what inspired these outbursts I don't know, but they're your last. I suggest you grow up and stop looking for fights with anyone whose opinions you don't agree with.

I don't know and quite frankly I don't care. Now stop stamping your foot and leave this thread for the purpose it was intended for.

General
I have been a supporter for 30 years and in that time have held a season ticket for several years.I am no longer a season ticket holder as i have moved away from the midlands and cant get to Villa Park regularly. However,i watch the villa about 10/12 times a season, mainly away from home.I use different peoples client ref numbers to obtain tickets. For this reason i missed out on wembley tickets last season so decided to start getting tickets this season on my own client ref number.I phoned Villa park today to purchase a ticket for the arsenal game on saturday. The ticket office guy told me i could only have restricted view tickets as the client ref number hadnt got enough credits on it.when i asked him if there was other tickets available he said yes but i didnt qualify.Could you please confirm this is/isnt club policy?

General, when designing a new stand (new North Stand for example) are acoustics taken into account, with a view to improving the atmosphere?

Do they club have any other plans in the pipeline for improving accoustics within the ground? I sit in the Upper Holte and am genuinely surprised after some matches when people in other parts of the ground claim they couldn't hear us. I do appreciate that we aren't that loud for many matches but am thinking more along the lines of when I think we have been.

One answer, which the people who run this site aren't interested in, is the join the stands up somehow.

I wait to see what the General has to say !

Wouldn't want to a see a wrap around or bowl effort going on, I like the character of a typical British ground.

I do think we could give a few of the corners and the Holte roof a better finish though, it looks ugly in that corner between the Holte and Witton. It also looks a bit odd and unfinished between the Trinity and North but that should (hopefully) change when the North gets renovated.

What Rangers have done is one example, there are others in Germany and Spain.
Keep the four stands separate but close in the corners might be some way to improve atmosphere and acoustics.   Ultimately though it's not going to make a huge amount of difference if there is noise only coming from one half of one stand.

General: have we considered designs for the new North Stand from any other firm apart from HOK, or has the whole project been parked for the time being?

General, again, could you please ask those responsible to consider returning the big screen in the North Stand?
