Hopkins - for no other reason than for kicking me up in the air after I had nut-megged him when he was player-manager of a Sunday league side.

I misread that first time round and I thought you said that you nutted him.

In which case his response would be understandable.

Just occured to me, its nothing personal against the guy but I think Enkleman deserves a dishourable mention.
I am still embarrassed, hurt, pained, incredulous, disbelieving, staggered, etc about THAT incident in THAT game.
If he was going to make a complete and utter prick of himself while wearing our shirt, why couldnt he do it against somebody like wigan or bolton ?

You would think Robert Hopkins is a prick until you meet him. Then you know he's a prick. Surprised Aspinall got a mention, I thought he played a big part in us going straight back up.

Nigel Callaghan, David O'Leary and Steve Hodge.

As an aside, I remember Robert Hopkins Villa Park debut. He came off the bench and I think scored pretty much immediately.

Bossie

OK not necessarily a prick from a playing perspective but a prick of the highest order in his private life and in his minimal  career since he left the Villa.

He's a prick because he had so much natural talent he could easily have been one of the greatest keepers of all time. A bit like Collymore, again so much talent gone to waste eventually.

Bossie is also a prick for a comment as a pundit on Aussie TV a while before a Chelsea v Man Utd game.

So then Mark, which of your former Clubs do you still follow?

MB, ''Oh Chelsea, as I enjoyed my time there and liked the area''.  What a cnut.

It's a though he played 227 games for Chelsea and not the Villa (He actually played 7 games for Chelsea in the League Cup). He barely mentions his Man Utd career at all.

And the idiot Aussie TV presenter knows so little about football that they never pick him up on it.
