Only if you want to watch highlights and get live commentary on matchdays... basically it's AVTV you pay for. Everything else in the app is gratis once you've coughed up your £2.99

I downloaded 4 apps last night that will rule my life for the next 8 months.

1. The Villa app
2. Paddy Power app
3. Telegraph Fantasy Football
4. Premier League Fantasy Football

What a marvellous invention the iphone is, not sure my missus shares my love of it though.
