In fairness, our best striker came through the youth setup, and the other two are huge useless wastes of space who wouldn't recognise the goal if it had signposts next to it. things can hardly get worse, in that respect.

I presume by the other two you mean Carew & Heskey.
Heskey i'll grant you have a point but Carew??

Why does our best goals to games striker constantly get such a hard time with alot on here when nobody has scored more goals then him while he has been at the club. ?

"wouldn't recognise the goal if it had signposts next to it"... My arse !

Just had a look on an everton forum and I am shocked, they sound like we did about Martin.
This is a what one poster put!

" Sorry but Hibbert, Cahill, Distin and maybe Felli need benching. Coleman is a must to start, Cahill hasnt had a good game for months and besides the odd headed goal offers absolutely nothing else to the side. Distin just plays hoof ball and panics as soon as he has the ball. Moyes just doesnt seem to want to drop any of his favourites or change the old , boring and now way too predictable 4-5-1 formation, no matter how bad they play or how wrong the tactics are!
We must be the most predictable and one dimensional team in the premier league and maybe our luck has run out. Time to change things Mr Moyes!"

Sound familiar?

MON to Everton
Moyes to Villa

What are the current odds.

Seems to to have some inevitability about it.

No way MON would go to Everton.
No money for transfers and the board won't sanction his desire for over the top wages on average players.

Celtic awaits (When Lennon fucks up)
A nice gig for him, try to be the best in a 2 horse race.

20/1 MON to Everton.

Worth a punt.

MON will resurface at Sunderland or Stoke when spud face or Pulis gets the sack.

Two clubs willing to overpay in transfer fees and wages to try and establish themselves in the higher reaches of the league.

Maybe he'll go to Fulham if Hughes fucks up.

Strangley enough, Hughes is still 3/1 favourite with William Hill.

Betting has indeed been suspended on Moyes with Ladbrokes.

I could cope with Moyes, especially if he brings Rodwell and (maybe) Pinnaer.

I would not be overwhelmed though - I would worry that he has needed a goal scorer at Blue-Scouse for years and failed to find one (apart from Rooney who 'did one' pdq).

I would also hope for more than 'done brilliant with limited resources' even if it proves to be the brief.

Maybe a risk though actually I see appointing from within a lower risk than a new man who turns it all on its head - I think we should keep it in-house. Is it better to know what you have inside out or know a bit more about everyone else and little of the organisation you manage?

We should appoint Kevin Mac and stick with him and then after more than a decade of winning everything he seamlessly passes the baton to Sir Sid Cowans and even more success follows. I dare to dream ...
