The next appointment will show our future ambition.
There is no manager worthy of replacing MON.
OK as you don't want to answer that one, which "genuinely top class" managers are likely to walk out on their current clubs to join us?

Our next manager doesn't have to be currently unemployed. As to who would quit their current job to take over, I have no idea. Depends on what sort of case we can make to them. Put it this way, I don't think Randy's first thought should be "Okay, let's assume that x, y, and z won't be interested and not bother even approaching them." What he should do is figure out which managers he would be most happy with and go from there. Obviously there are managers who aren't gettable: Ferguson, Wenger, Mourinho, etc. But other than that very top tier, I don't think we should necessarily be ruling anyone out before we've approached them.As others have said, this is an absolutely crucial appointment, so it's not a time to be thinking small.
Merson: "It's a shame Peter Reid's got the Plymouth job, he'd have been ideal"Has he graduated from booze to crystal meth?
