Our Lee played some lovely stuff yesterday, more of the same today please.  Tiger's new putter seems to be working out ok as well. Bets looking ok so far!

I think it's Andrew Cotter (sp?) redsox, not Coltart.

I got the spelling off the BBC leaderboard when I heard the Beeb mention that the guy sometimes commentated with them

No it's Coltart.
Andrew Cotter also commentates on the golf but he's never been a professional golfer.

Casey was going well today until he's just triple-bogey'd the 17th that is.

Forgot that the 'sports arena' was here....

I had a little flutter on 4 players; Westwood & Poulter as serious and Monty and Calcavecchia as the pay out is top 6 and they both do well in bad conditions.....just hope the wind blows enough to get monty inside the cut mark

Monty should make the cut. All hell breaking loose at the moment. Very windy.

McIlroy seems to be having a spot of trouble.

The action on Friday was rivetting stuff and demonstrates why the Open is so revered.

It was a real test of nerve, patience and concentration and put even the best golfers under severe pressure. But there were still some great shots. The climax with Woods brilliant shot at the 18th and the emotional scenes with Tom Watson will be difficult to beat over the weekend.

I know many people don't take the game seriously, but the sight of a sportsman and gentleman such as Watson completing his final Open round at the home of golf was the perfect antidote to the bloated, cynical and from an England point of view, utterly pathetic World Cup.

Has there ever been a final day so predictably boring? It's a silly course!
