I bet the media are slitting their wrists that their best mate 'appy 'arry got stuffed. Shame.

As for Ray Wilkins, 'stay on your feet, you must stay on your feet', 'keep the ball, you must keep the ball in this environment'. Shat ap.

Spurs didn't deserve that according to Ray 'stay on yer feet' Wilkins

Yer right, all those chances Spurs created and so much silky passing too - how they didn't score 4 or 5 themselves is anyone's guess. Had Crouch stayed on, they would have probably won

Anyway, I find it most distasteful to see a team that has not won its own domestic league for 50 years getting anywhere nearing winning the European Cup so thank goodness that has been put to bed...

ITV are going to have a hell of a job trying to hype up the second leg.

Well there's still everything to play for at the Lane

Funniest bit was when the commentator said Spurs were up against it playing Europe's elite....bet their fans loved that. True though...

Don't worry, they'll come up with some sort of angle

Let's not forget their 125th anniversary when they pulled 4 back against some mugs  ::)

He's right though. Spurs were stupid and totally outclassed this evening, and kept repeating the same mistakes because they're not good enough to live with the likes of Real Madrid. The top of Redknapp's head must really hurt having had it banged against that glass ceiling so much.

I am just smiling watching Sky trying to clutch at straws. Hopefully this will be a catalyst for Spurs to implode over the next couple of seasons.

It says a lot about the poor quality of our league that such an ordinary team as Spurs can be feted thus in this country

And a lot about the poor quality across Europe too - Barcelona excepted - when they can reach the quarter finals alongside two other English teams who have been well below standard but still good enough to be at the top of our very mediocre collection of clubs. Or almost in Chelsea's case...

I prefer the system when we won it. Champions.

It's not often that 4-0 is an extremely flattering scoreline.
