My ears must be going funny... Is that booing at Anfield? Surely not.

wigan lose nzogbia for 3 games, so some good news ....       ;-)

And that's where we are at the moment, being grateful for a Wigan player being suspended.

Just watched our demise on MoTD. Petrov looked scared in that shot before the game started. Can't believe how useless Brad is at penalties. Why did Warnock  tried to force  Johnson inside all the time when he is a natural left footer? One of those led to their second pen.
I think Lichaj was unlucky on  the award against him and can't believe that there was no protest from our players.

Seeing other clubs around us pick up wins and knowing that such a thing is beyond us, I've gone beyond despair. What can stop us not being relegated but also finishing bottom of the table?

Interesting thing about the chelsea game was they were shocking and getting a pasting by bolton until they scored. then the confidence flooded back and it was a different team.  now they're not a crap team, but lose a bit of self-belief and you can look awful. Something we should bear in mind i think.......

Well said, Greg. Confidence is a really strange thing in all sports.

This is a good point actually. A little bit like the Albion game perhaps, we were on the backfoot, we got in front and it gave us a bit of confidence.

We're in a situation at the moment where if we go a goal behind, the players head drop. Go two goal's down and the game's lost. The only time that did'nt happen was against Arsenal, where we could have easily pulled it back to 2-2, but i've not seen a great deal of evidence of that kind of spirit since then.

It was a low point last night checking the Wolves and Wigan scores to see how they had done.

West Ham v Wolves is looking like a fixture we'll have to keep our eyes on today
Guess we want a draw and plenty of injuries (in the nicest possible way), suspensions etc
