If it's been dismissed now can we call him the useless c**t he actually is now?

Remind me, which one out of you and Emile scored a goal for Villa against Feyenoord tonight?

That doesn't really matter, though does it.

How so?

Well, for example, you and I have never played a minute of Premier League football (I'm assuming you haven't, but I haven't) but it isn't going to stop us calling whichever player we don't rate shit, is it?

If Heskey is going to stay with us, I dearly hope he absolutely makes me (and all the others) choke on my criticism of him. He might, he might not, but I don't think a goal in a pre-season friendly is much indication of the way things are going to go.

No I don't either but if you're going to call a player shit or a useless c**t on a night he scores for the Villa against Feyenoord then you're on a hiding to nothing with me. Not unless you've got something very special about yourself.

Do you ever lighten up and stop taking everything so incredibly seriously?

You should.

Pour a scotch or something. I would. If I had any. It's the dregs of a three week old wine box for me, but even that helps.

I have some advocaat and some pimms in the cupboard (you can see how I like to party at home) and some mixers and ice, I'll try some of that.

I don't mean to be so uptight but "useless ******"? A Villa player? A Villa player that scored tonight against Feyenoord? It got my goat.

I'll go and mix myself something chillin'

I like Advocaat, but - weirdly - only at Christmas. It also goes down far too fast.

It's just a pre-season friendly. Like Bohemians and Basingstoke. It's no biggie.

Mind you, reading the match thread tonight, I'm dreading to think what the actual season will be like.

Advocaat?

Not for me.

MoN really got the better of him when he was at Rangers.
