where the hell did Sidwell learn how to do that?

Everton away ?

I forgot that one.  Why doesn't he do it more often?

Right. Just go in, somebody wanna give me a quick summary of what's going on please?

We're playing shit (Albrighton excepted) and we are winning 3-1 against poor opposition (Benfica beat them 4-1) And yes Heskey and Sidwell have scored!

Nothing like positive mental attitude...

How many times has Carew had free kicks given against him 'cos some gnat of a defender has jumped into him?

Young Lichaj looks quite decent doesn't he?

Indeed. I wouldn't be too disappointed if he lines up against the Spam.

miss villa is exactly right why can't we do things like that in the premier league, if we had beat the lower ranked clubs last season instead of dropping silly points against teams like wolves etc. we would have finished 4th

True dat!!

Would love to know what ze Dutch commentators are on about. Heard something about Heskey, Shorey, Sidwell ex internationals, but couldn't decipher the rest.

They also showed a clip at half time of Feyenoord pressurising us and the ball going back to Guzan who smashed it long. Perhaps it was their play on "They don't like it up 'em, Brian" but it seems odd in the context of this match as we've generally tried to get the ball down and play and build from the back.

With a few of these youngsters stepping up to the plate, we suddenly look to have a lot of depth to the squad, if not quite the requisite quality in some positions...

They know their stuff though. I heard Bannan, Blackpool and Derby County all mentioned in the same sentence!
