A friend of mine in the finance game described them as a company that is doing to the financial trading market what Betfair did to the bookmaking market. He gave them a big thumbs up.

thankyou...

My point was, we now have a sponsor that's giving us a bit of cash... and people are moaning that we're being unethical and the like.

Get a life.

Great news on one hand in respect to more revenue coming into the club.

On the other they must have one of the worst slogans I have ever seen!
"Trade Forex Like A Pro" - WTF?

Blimey Chico that's a bit strong. I share his irritation that there always seem to be those who like nothing more than a good sneer. maybe that makes me a prick too?

Someone who actually makes something? Employs local (even British) people? A household name?

Do those type of companies have the cash to put into football sponsorship just now?

In the current econmic climate I think we have to be pleased that we've secured a deal that met our asking price.

yeah well dave... thankfully i'm in a world where i can voice an opinion, which doesn't necessarily have to stick to your rules.

sorry, but sometimes some comments i read are just embarrassing.

What incredibly over the top, melodramatic ways you choose to debate.  You can't seem to make a point without needing to get an insult in.  And you tell other people to get a life.

I think, technically, in a manner of speaking, you've broken the rules and have to be officially warned.

Just doing a quick bit of 'reserach', to others to find what the going rate seems to be, and found that Liverpool have their new £20m 4 year deal, so £5m year, and Arsenal, Man City and Spurs all get £5m a year aswell.  Also, saw that Fulham get £4m a year.

Bearing that in mind, I think we should be looking for more then Fulham, but can't see us getting more than those other clubs due to their higher profile.  So it'll be somewhere between £4m-£5m for me!

I'm just glad that we have a commercial sponsor.

We aren't Barcelona and as such, we need to be looking to generate as much money as we can into the club.

At a guess, I'd say we're making £3.5 million a year from FxPro.
