I'm packing my kit as I speak.

Warwickshire, that's a fucking disgrace.

You could do with a few Yorkshiremen.

What are Hutton, Boycott, Gough, Vaughan and Trueman doing?

Two dead

One sewing sequins onto his lycra shirt

One hitting cricket balls covered in paint onto canvas and calling it "art"

And the other harping on about line and length, the corridor of uncertainty and his day.

I'm listening to the match commentary on BBC Radio Coventry & Warwicks.

They know their stuff but the presentation is appalling.

Good interview with the bloke who runs the Birmingham League though, despite the phrase "there or thereabouts" being used 3 times in 5 minutes.

Himley for the Premier League title this summer apparently.

176 for 8.  Tim Ambrose and Chris Woakes with a face-saving partnership.

221 for 8 now, Woakes is 62 n.o.

That's a pretty good recovery from 68 for 6.

268 for 8.

Carter 56 not out, and Woakes 74 not out.  The eight-wicket pair put on 77 and these two have so far put on 93.  Superb effort from the lower order.

Only 15 behind Hants now which, as Chris says, from 68 for 6 is a great recovery.

The effect of seeing me in my whites on the boundary did the trick. I have now returned, satisfied with my efforts.

Great recovery. Well done Woakes. Typical that the first century of the season comes from a bowler.
