Can't see Gabby going. I can see Young getting a bit big headed and wanting to move like Lescott did last season.

No, but we have more than half a very decent team already and need to find the odd player to add to that. To complete it.
Ashley Young, even though he hasnt had as good a season as two years ago perhaps, is still key for us.
We would find it very difficult to replace him with any amount of money.

This is how its going to be now until Sheikh Yerbouti gets bored isnt it? Every transfer window, our best players are going to be wished away by the media and the fans will jump at shadows.

We allowed one senior player to move after a decade of service and making a bell end of himself, got very good money for him and replaced him with a better player in his position.
Its like, because we let that happen once, its set a precedent where we're at the mercy of Man City or whoever. Rubbish.

Besides, Man City are not going to offer £40m for Ashley Young. Its just not going to happen.

Not sure if mentioned on this thread before but once again last night Forlan looked a quality player and when interviewed afterwards said he wouldn't rule out a move back to prem. The only top team other than us who may be interested is the bin dippers surely we can out bid them this summer!!
