Currently 8th and possibly a slot in the Ironman World Championship in 2022. Need to go to award ceremony later. Fingers crossed.
Managed a pb of 1:54:11. Happy enough with that, it’s a tough, hilly Half.

Next up Ironman Oceanside on April 2, a week to aclimatise, race and then 3 weeks of drinking and eating.Training through a British winter has been hard, finding the motivation for 4 plus hour rides on a Saturday in the cold, long runs on a Sunday, my mojo is seriously depleted, add to that the usual niggles, plantar, dodgy knees and a back injury doing DIY, my running form has definitely suffered over the past few months as I have compensated for the injuries.
