So with April nearly done it was time for a quick 5k blast this morning. 25:12!! Felt fucking amazing whilst running from 1k to 4K though the less said about the last 1k the better. Time to reflect on achievements so far and set up a programme to work towards the Duathlon in October. Seen some good stuff online and I need to stop pissing about and put some bric training and strength training into the schedule. Onwards.....

Seriously though, well done, great time. My back is still bad so haven't been out for ten days, so going to have to build back up when it's right again.
Hope that back clears up soon, it’s a right pain when it happens. Are you doing any exercises or yoga to help it?

Finally after about two years plateaued I’m moving forward. Hard work but I’m sustaining pace reasonably well. I just did a fairly hilly 6K at 4.57 per K pace. I think Lockdown has helped me focus on working harder.
