The 4-3 in 1994. My favourite Villa team  (essentially the 92-93 side even though it was on the slide by then) featuring in a goalsfest against the much hyped Klinsmann-inspired Spurs . Deano's winner was fantastic. A much needed win having lost BFR and chucked away a two goal lead in the match before.

The 89-90. I thought we'd be champions after that performance.

You havent mentioned the the 1-0 FA Cup win in 1992 - that was a classic Villa performance. We played them off the park with only one goal to show for it. We murdered them.

4 - 3 in 1994 also for me.  Hard times, Spurs away end being re-done if memory serves me right, so not as many Villa fans as normal. The only time me and my Dad have ever gone to an away game together (my dad's not really a football fan but he went anyway), 3 - 0 up and in heaven, 3 - 3 and back to normal and then the winner - unbelievable!!!

I still get goose bumps thinking about it!!!!

1990, as it was the first time I'd ever seen the Villa go top of the league.

A great night. I was right behind the goal when Yorkie prodded it home.

Mind you, even if it was an option I'd still have voted for the 2-0 in 1990.

2 down, Lineacre had a penner to make it three, Spink saved, we pulled one back just before half time then went mental second half. Five different scorers. Great day, that.

League cup 94. It was my 16th birthday and the away support was amazing that night, i think we had about 6-7000 there. And i saw Earl Barratt score!

The day of our goal of the season competition.

Although my favourite memory at Spuds is half time during the 4-4. Singing "Happy Birthday" to them - forget the result for a minute, that was fucking brilliant!

That's my favourite as well. Went with a mix of Villa and Spurs fans and were going to meet up at a pub in the West End afterwards. Funnily enough half the Spurs fans didn't turn up, but some brve ones did, much to our enjoyment.

Without doubt one of the finest away performances by a Villa side in my time was the 4-1 win in August 1978.

Portrayed as lambs to the slaughter as Ardiles and Villa made their debuts, 50,000 in White Hart Lane, tickertape everywhere and we played them off the park. Brian Little was unplayable that night.

The team was:-

Rimmer, Gidman, Swain, Evans, McNaught, Mortimer, Shelton, Little, Carrodus, Cowans, Gregory

Scorers: Evens, Gregory, Little, Shelton.

Shame there is no footage. Six of the championship side already in place.
