Is 6k any better or worse than usual for them? They finished last season well and I don't think Bowyer's a bad manager so thought there might be a feelgood factor (as much as there ever can be over there) around.

It will be their renewal phase so they're probably on for what they sold in 19/20.

The one Blues fan I know was back at six-a-side last night, trying to give me "bants" because Bellingham came on and Grealish didn't. "You do realise he doesn't play for you any longer" was my reply.

I guess it's just a case of them vicariously living through Bellingham's life because their own team is so shit but I really don't understand their obsession with a player who couldn't wait to get away from them at the first opportunity.

When you have nothing or very little you cling onto what you have.

It would be like us reflecting and bragging about Barry and Yorke's achievements when they moved on.  Or even Milner or the many others. It's something that just wouldn't happen.

I am actually surprised it is that many to be honest.  I think they have done well.

We've probably got more on the waiting list.

There's no guarantee that every Villa game next season will be televised, to be fair. They've got to keep themselves occupied somehow.

So 6,000 sth, add on the day ticket sales and I think they can break the 6,050 mark

How incredibly annoying and sad. Great response to him by the way.

I never refer to him as anything other than "Small Heath's Jude Bellingham" particularly when one of then is in earshot.

I like that, it's got an EBLJT vibe to it that would wind them up.

There was a Nose on a Facebook page yesterday calling Bellingham a true Brummie until a Villa fan enquired if Stourbridge was part of Brum. The response was something like "it's as good as..." The gift that keeps on giving. OK for them but heaven help a Villa fan bring from Dudley or somewhere similar.
