The 'skint pricks' from Bordesley Green will be even more skint now that Coventry have negotiated a ten year deal to return to the Ricoh Arena.

Yeah, I saw that earlier. They’ve got the Two stand hovel to themselves again now.

Would'nt it be so funny if Small Heath had to share the Ricoh after it is discovered that the Sty is in a worse condition than they let on and is closed down  for  safety reasons

I think Small Heath have already admitted that one or two stands need major repair and closing them is quite likely.

Imagine the state they'd be in if they'd actually been anywhere near capacity for any length of time during their lifespan.

Whats actually happening to these stands?
Repair or closure? Has there been anything official from the owners?

Even funnier if Cov said ‘No’ and they had to go to somewhere like Northampton or Solihull Moors 😂

It wouldn't be Cov saying "no", Wasps own the ground. Can't see having three teams at the same ground being practical.

They both need repairs - cost £1m.  Closure until repaired.  Not likely to be opened in time for the start of next season.

In think they said the cost was a minimum of £1mill as they actually haven't seen the state beneath the concrete foundations and are only going in the visible issues at the moment. When they actually pay to get the work started, then they will know the true cost.

I wouldn't hold my breath regarding any major repairs and I wouldn't hold my breath regarding hearing anything official from the owners. To paraphrase Winston Churchill Small Heath are a turd wrapped up in a riddle wrapped up in a conundrum.

Oh dear..
They barely need 2 stands anyway and with Coventry moving out its not looking too good is it?

Blimey, I forgot about Wasps.
