The latest villa thread on Small Time Alliance is an absolute hoot. Surely the OP is a Villa fan on a wind-up?

I thought that about the OP. It was a bit like coming on H&V and asking how much people would contribute to the Tory party.

That thread was beautiful. Insightful as well as I now know who our next 5 games are against.

I donate £20,000 per year to the Conservative party and have since 2010.  I live and breath Villa.

I donated 2 tins of almost in date peaches and a tin of supermarket own brand soup to the local harvest festival in 1981 and I too am a massive Villa fan.

£20k per year isn't enough to influence Conservative policy, but could make a difference to other people with similar social/personality problems. Seems like a waste of money to me.

Similar personality problems? Do you mean prisoners or war gamers?

I mean people who are unfortunate enough to be unable to engage as a productive member of society, but fortunate enough to not have a taste for mustard or oxblood-coloured chinos.
