They’d probably make more money if they streamed our games!

Yep, if you have a Villa related question ask a bluenose as they will be sure to know the answer. Their perceived in depth knowledge of our accounts at any given time knows no bounds. I see Dele Adebola got a mention in a previous post. At one point in the nineties it was suggested Dele Adebola might qualify for an Irish cap and a nose mate of mine found it hilarous to call him 'Paddybola'.

What a shame ,the noses i know are really put out by the fact that their match at Stoke has been put back from the Saturday to the Sunday because of our cup match against Stoke

Tait's a legend for pushing Richardson into the Trinity Rd, the 'T' shirt reinforces that status.
Darren Purse is a legend because he was better than the usual center halves they've had over the years but would be average or less than in any other half decent club.
Dele Adebola ...I have no idea

Wasn’t Purse the donkey who clobbered Angel & should have walked in the 1st Enckleman cock up game?

They appear to be very optimistic regarding what kind of season they will have at the the moment. I do think Etheridge and Hogan are good signings for them but I don't think they will be troubling the top six.

As long as they don't trouble the top six and we don't visit the bottom three, then I will be a happy chappy.

This is the type of mentality I associate with them quite frankly, I couldn’t care less what they do as long as we take care of our house.

Counting the League cup,Small Heath have played four matches ,three of them at the Sty and have managed just one win and they were very lucky to get that as Brentford outplayed them .Promotion? Not on that evidence.

I can't understand why they aren't asking more questions regarding what has happened to the Bellingham money.

They’ve borrowed against both.  Meaning they need the cash now to plug the gaps in funding.

The Bellingham deal is being paid in installments (which in itself isn't unusual) and is also heavily subject to bonuses and incentives so to some degree so they don't exactly know how much they will eventually receive and when. Which I suspect makes it difficult to continually borrow against going forward.

It'll be a very exciting season down at the Sty this year judging by the amount of goals scored in their opening few games. They'll be looking to 0-0 and 1-0 their way to 13th.

The latest villa thread on Small Time Alliance is an absolute hoot. Surely the OP is a Villa fan on a wind-up?
