Always comes across as a decent man and didn't deserve to be shat on as he was at Newcastle?  I hope he does well.

Very true, not many recent ex-managers of SHA would be so well regarded on here.

Salford City sack Graham Alexander, 233 days after his last league defeat which seems a bit harsh. Scholesy now in charge.

They drew on Saturday, didn't they? I understand results since the new year have been too disappointing for the Class of '92 (Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) to tolerate.

Jobs for the boys. Didn't Scholes have a nightmare when he was in charge of Oldham?

I bet Forest are already interviewing for his replacement.

I doubt they need to. They must have every manager in Europe's details on file already. Forest are to football what Mick Jagger is to women. At some point they will pick someone and then afterwards they will realise they have already had that person before.

He lasted 30 days.  Although I think something isn't right at Oldham at the best of times. Scholes was the tenth appointment in five years. He left in March last year and they've already had another two managers since.

Reading off to a flyer in the Championship. It will be interesting to see how their manager Veljko Paunović goes from here. Well-travelled playing career  at a decent level including Spain, Russia and Germany, managed in the US and fluent in 6 languages.

They're set up well at Reading & they're banging the goals in.
