However, I have no expectation of a deep playoff run.

Play-offs start tonight. Not counting that wild card crap. 162 games to end up in a one game lottery is shite. Pretty sure 3 of the 4 starting pitchers didn't even make it to the 3rd inning.

I’m not holding out much chance of success for our Sox. The Astros look too good. Even if Boston gets past Houston, Cleveland look even better.

What's in our favour is we're very streaky. Especially the pitchers, even Sale. You never know if it will be a shutout or they'll be out before the 4th. We're as likely to sweep Houston as be swept. That said i'm not overly optimistic.

Nats had an awesome bottom of the 8th on Saturday to go from 1-3 to 6-3 v the Cubs.

Red Sox win Game 3 while Yankees try to avoid first ever sweep (0-0 in the bottom of the 6th)
