The only tickets I was offered were around £300. No way am I paying that.

If this had been my first chance to see live baseball I'd be well pissed off.

However, after 60+ games at Fenway and close to 300 overall, I can live without going to these games.

Having said that, I have emailed a friend who's running a trip over from Boston to see if I can just buy tickets off him

That guide Mr Sox posted suggested the £60 were the best value for money, so I went for those exclusively.  The first lot I was offered were in one of the restricted view blocks so I binned them off.  By the time I got in again all the Saturday £60 had gone so I went for Sunday.

I'm a bit surprised that there's enough demand in the UK for baseball to get away with those prices.  The NFL I understand, as lots of people I know like American Football at some level, but I've never met anyone (other than the good folk on here) who have the remotest interest in baseball.
