Can't believe they used Chapman when in such a strong position. If you can't trust the rest of your bullpen to hold a 5 run lead then it doesn't say much about them.

I reckon this whole game hinged on that total fuck up by the Indians in the first inning. World of difference  psychologically for both teams between 1 and 3 runs that early.

No that's a home run. Average is for hits. If a batter got a hit every at bat he'd have an average of 1.000. If he got one half the time he'd be .500. And so on. It's worked by number of at bats divided by number of hits. During the regular season a .300 average is good. No one has batted .400 since 1941. That's the simple version as walks, sacrifices and it by a pitch don't count as an at bat for your average. Bet you're glad you asked!
