BUNCH OF MUKES!

Ok, for anybody who happens to be reading an NHL thread in an off topic section, who has no knowledge or liking of the sport.........

The Toronto Maple Leafs v The Ottawa Senators at the Air Canada Centre, was the only game i have ever been to, so therefore i follow the Leafs results.

T'was a bloodbath at the "Big Blue Tent" tonight as the Devils beat Newcastle to stay top of the league.

Fights a'plenty.

For those that like their ice hockey and I'm not sure if it's been shown in the UK, but tomorrow the Pittsburgh Penguins will play the Buffalo Sabres in an outdoor game at the American Football stadium in Buffalo - a crowd of 70,000 will be in attendance.  Given that it's in Buffalo and it it's January, it will be cold and probably very windy.

How are the Dallas Stars doing UKR? Are they expected to challenge this year?

I had tickets to see them in 2003 but a Bill Parcells inspired Cowboys game ended up taking so long I missed it!!

Well the Penguins won the game after a shoot-out .  Great stuff played in blowing snow in front of 73,000 fans.

Its all going tits-up at the Cardiff Devils.

Major injury/suspension problems and no money to bring in quality replacement players. Both netminders are now injured, so they're having to drag in unproven backups from other clubs.

Add to this a dispute with the rink management and Cardiff Council over excessive charges, the withdraw of promised sponsorship and general chaos.

Looks like you might not have to put up with my Elite League babbling for much longer.

We are hoping to get tickets for a game in Denver at the beginning of January.

Any of our American contingent have any suggestions for obtaining tickets ?

Cheers!

Cheers for that :)

My mate checked Ticketmaster but said the prices were extortionate.
We'll try the other link.
