Just watching NFL This Week on BBC2. Great speech by the one guy about the NFL-Trump standoff.

Just saw this online @ http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/41412767
Quite right.
And the killer, for all the owners coming out in solidarity, no one has hired Colin Kaepernick...
Good analysis in the speech about him risking his livelihood. They should be building statues of him not blackballing him.

It's amazing no one's going near Kaepernick. He was one of the best QB's around a few years ago. I wouldn't mind him as a back-up to Rodgers but the guy should really be first choice somewhere.

The Dolphins could have pick Kap up but they chose to tempt Jay Cutler out of retirement.  ::)

Just curious if you are hearing anything on what the goal is here with all these games in London?  Is it pure marketing of the game in other continents, or are they genuinely considering putting a franchise over there?

I think they've said they plan to have a franchise here in the 2020s.

The details

http://www.espn.co.uk/blog/big12/post/_/id/120765/oklahomas-playoff-hopes-take-blow-with-stunning-loss-to-iowa-state

Mayfield Heismann chances.......zero.

OU just don’t seem to be able to get any type of defence strategy going and offensively they’ve lost all their running and decent wide receivers last year. Back to the drawing board....

I’m outside the AT&T Stadium right now waiting my first Packers game. It’s different here of course, that tailgate party thing is going on and it’s still 5 hours until kick off, lots of different music and booze everywhere. There’s more Packers fans around than I thought as well.

Overall I prefer Burton away😉

Had a message from Kiwi this morning saying that she’s in Paris (France rather than Texas), so it looks like she missed the game.
