Get rid of Cutler. Draft a quarter-back, give Payton a year contract to teach him the trade. Easy.

Cutler is guaranteed a fortune for next year, don't think anyone will trade us for him. After next year it's not guaranteed.

Da Bears have now interviewed the following for the head coach position:-

Broncos Off. Co-od. Gase (apparently impressed in his interview)
Former Bills Head Coach
Seahawks Def. Co-od. Dan Quinn
Cardinals Def. Co-od
Lions Def. Co-od.

And we've also been linked with ex-Broncos Head Coach Fox and Mike Shanahan (another former Bronco!).

Looks like Fox might be Da Coach. I'd be delighted with that.

The NCAA are bit-by-bit pretending that those sexual assaults carried out while Joe Pa was coach, didn't happen.

However, for me, the worst thing is the fuss that Penn State and its students are making, eg teams wearing jerseys/helmets with "409" patches.

Penn State should have gracefully accepted the reinstated wins and moved on.

In addition to the Papa John's adverts (anti-Obamacare et al).....there's now an advert over here where Peyton Manning improvises an insurance company's jingle melody into everything he says.

As if we needed more reasons to hate him. (And I even went to the U of Tennessee!!!!)

Regarding the Conference Championship games:-

Spoiler for Hiden:
I'm quite glad that it's not the nightmare Superbowl of The Packers against the Patriots.

Packers really should have won against the Seahawks, dominated as the Seahawks made loads of errors, but couldn't quite get a big lead and then there was the huge error by Bostick. Feel sorry for him as being a Special Teams player, that may be the end of his NFL career.

Patriots demolishing the Colts was fairly predictable, just hope the Seahawks win the big one.

It should be the end of his career. He had one job - to block and allow Jordy Nelson, our best receiver who was assigned to receive, to catch the onside kick.

I'm still pissed off about it. I thought only Villa could fuck up on a scale of that magnitude. 16-0 at half-time and could have been 24-0. A lead of 5 points with 9 seconds before the 2-minute warning with all our time-outs in hand and we blow it. The defence had been great for most of the game so to fuck up so royally was quite incredible.

I'm obviously pissed about the way it happened but I can take consolation that a good chunk of our team (most of our offensive line) are 1st or 2nd year rookies, we've developed a good running game and the defence, overall, is the best that I've seen it. We've been getting by with Rodgers not being very mobile in the last few weeks so we should be well positioned next season. Players like Rodgers and Matthews have got to get another Superbowl at some point.

Spoiler for Hiden:
You dominated for nearly 3 quarters, but couldn't quite get out of sight. A strange game. Like you say, can't see you not being strong in future.
