Clay Matthews did a similarly stupid thing against the 49ers for the Packers. Quarter-Back was going to be a few yards short of the first down, probably meaning a Field Goal and instead they had another play and got a Touchdown. Thank you Matthews, you idiot.

The commentators were trying to say that it wasn't too bad and that CMJ started to make the tackle while Kaepernick was in bounds.

Nope, it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay late

Apparently Matthews had been going on all week about how they were going to hit Kapernick. Glad he did  ;D

Quick quiz question. Since 2000 onwards, what division is the only one where all 4 teams have reached the Superbowl?

Correct MV. I found that astonishing, as it's generally been seen as the weakest of the NFC divisions over the last 10 years I would say.

49ers and Seahawks now look like they have pretty good teams and I think the Rams are fast improving. The Cardinals still don't seem that great though.

It used to be a really crap division, 49ers apart, for much of the 90s. The Falcons and Saints were in it in those days though. What amazes me is that the Cardinals ever reached a Superbowl, they've never been better than mediocre whenever I've followed it.

They were pretty poor, but had a good QB in Kurt Warner and a couple of very good Wide Receivers. The oldest Franchise in American Football!!

They've not got much in common with the original team though. Bears are still the oldest team never to have moved state. Packers are the oldest never to have moved city*.

* I think Green Bay is a city, city status doesn't seem to be a big issue to Americans like it is over here.
