Another epic from Dave Collett, who doesn't get paid by the word.

Excellent read.

Agreed.

With regards to Enkleman, I can't think too badly of him despite his balls ups in the last two games you wanted him too, as I was at that West Ham game which was crucial and he was superb, as he was in other games too.

Crikey. What a list that is.

Great read and sums up the situation pretty well. From the list over the years I liked Rimmer, Spink, Bosnich, James (until the Cup Final), Steer (that stare was epic) and now Martinez.

Friedel was pretty good, but terrible at saving penalties.

I liked Sorensen, buy he lost his confidence after an error against Blues.

One of the worst Keepers we had was Schmeichel imo. Strangely he was a lot better after he'd left us.

Geoff Crudgington and Jake Findlay were both really good keeper.
Findlay was in the winning youth cup team with Brian Little, Keith Leonard and John Gidman. I really thought he was going to be our keeper for a few years.

I loved reading that!  I think we've had four outstanding goalkeepers;  Jimmy Rimmer, Nigel Spink, Bosnich and the great Emi.
It makes so much difference when you have a goalie who gives the defence, and the fans, confidence.
