Promising.  Feel optimistic about the club again.

The absolute fucking nerve of somebody from Leicester taking the piss out of another person's accent.

He genuinely thinks he's sort of mirth meister, with his shit puns and shit links on MOTD.

They've offed one annoying prat in Lawro. Hopefully Linekarse gets similar treatment in the not too distant.

As a brummie exile I have spent years with the 'hilarious' Barry from Al Weiderseine Pet accent jokes. I have a thick skin but it is fucking irritating.

He can have a non BBC English accent and is fine by me.

Fuck em. Villa onwards and upwards.

WOW!!; this is a major statement as to the direction the owners are wanting the club to go.
Emery is that step below the level and status of Pep, Klopp, Zidane et al.

I'm sure he was mentioned as a manager Newcastle's new wealthy owners were trying to attract.

A very interesting and exciting appointment out the blue, and maybe the most significant appointment since GT 1987 in restoring the club name and reputation.

No, that was Dean Smith.

Inc challenging the prem top six?

Re, Lineker, not that it makes right or funny, but I imagine if we scrolled back to forum posts in the Other Games thread when he was Arsenal manager that some of us may have "textually impersonated" him in the same way without anyone batting an eyelid.

I see the new manager of the Football League founders owns Spanish League founder members Real Union.
what?
His father and Grandfather played for this team. I like Unai!
Unai bought a controlling stake in the club last year. Real Union from Irun, now 3rd division but a historic club who were one of the 10 founder members of the Spanish League in 1929. Maybe a pre-season trip to the Basque Country for us?

As mentioned above, thoroughly recommend a look at Molineux Mix tonight, it's very funny. In full meltdown.

And also, some deluded twats on there. Check this one out.

Ok in all seriousness; our players are (usually) way better than those of Villareal or Villa. We have consistently finished higher than Villa for years apart from Covid season.

Why the **** are those clubs getting Emery, linked with Gallardo, and we are consigning ourselves to Steve ******* Davis for 3 months??!.

They're not happy are they. Wait until they discover not only did we get a top manager sorted in a few days, we also dropped Amorim.

To a certain level yep; However when Vineghar Ande Chips playing on the continent hears that Villa are interested in signing them, who they're gonna be more impressed with;  Villa's name under DS or U Emery?

Hope it works. As said before he has experience and was probably given guarantees by the owners which is reassuring.
Anyway welcome to you Unai.

I wonder why he turned down Newcastle before get got Howe. Our gain as he is top class. Very exciting.

Because he has morals and human empathy
