A  win please Villa.
As said before our bench should eventually make the difference if we happen to struggle a bit.

Looking forward to seeing the return of some of the match thread buzz-words and phrases.

"I hope that was our bad half"
"ffs Ings AND Watkins does not work, how many times?"
"Nothing seems to have changed"
"We are so ponderous in our build up"
"Fucking around needlessly at the back!"
"FFS Watkins, you've got to score that"
"Coutinho has done nothing, get Buendia on"
"Make a change FFS!"

That's just the first two pages.

Who would leak such a thing? Flintstone will be well-miffed.

Konsa the big call.

Gerrard must really rate him considering he was easily worst of CBs from January onwards. Not sure he's the right partner to ease in Diego myself.

Happy with rest of the team as feels like a game Ings could score to get off to decent start to the season. Options on the bench to change aswell.

I think Chambers isn't fully fit so Konsa got the nod.

The bench looks like quite a decent side too.

The absences are interesting. A few loan moves and maybe some permanent deals still to come and we're still supposed to be after 1 or 2 players too.

When is the last time we had an England international on the bench?

Very predictable. Embarrassing performance.
