This is a good one of Korts winner.

Also shows how much b***ocks OGS was talking. I froze it when Hause connected with the header and Ollie is nowhere near De Gea who has a perfect view of the ball.

Yeah OGS was talking absolute bolx. I watched it several times over from different angles, and De Gea is clearly preoccupied with Watkins, De Gea pushes Watkins resulting him in bending over slightly with arms out (not holding, pushing or backing in to De Gea), and there is clear line of sight to the ball at all times.

Alan Shearer was as bad on MOTD with his dismissive language stating that his line of sight must have been blocked as he was standing in front of him…look at the actual footage! (although he did say the goal should stand and wasn’t offside/interfering with play).

Shearer actually agreed the goal was fine and the Leicester one should have stood also.

Volume warning for those wearing headphones daring to press play.  ;D

My god, the away support was deafening!

I saw a video earlier of ex ref Dermot Gallagher explaining why the goal was legitimate. An interesting point he made was that by pushing Watkins away De Gea ruled out any chance of him being deemed to be interfering / obstructing.

Gallagher possibly just going with the ref’s on field decision but the logic seemed fair.

The strategically posted prawn sandwich front right of shot made me laugh.

What they all seem to be missing in this scenario is, De Gea actually pushes Ollie in the back, if the corner has been taken at that time, then it's a penalty and all the bollocks being spouted is irrelevant.

That has just recently occurred to me too!

Thanks for posting, great view of the goal. Take that you plastic twats. And yes, I did the same freezing it when Kortney heads it and Ollie is nowhere the keeper.

Yep, agree with the above post, H&VAR has checked it, and Ollie is a good way to the left of De Gea at the exact moment Kortney connects with the header.

The very notion of consistency is laughable. We have a handball rule where referees, managers, commentators and pundits can all say, with a straight face, "yes it hit the arm, but there's no intent" one week and, "he didn't know much about it, but there's definitely contact" the next.

The 'controversy' makes it better for me, given it was against a club who expect every 10/90, 20/80, 30/70 and 40/60 decision to go in their favour, let alone 50/50s.

If it had ricocheted off Phil Jones's hamper of head bandages, 'Fergie's whiskey cabinet and the latest unfortunate female victim of Ryan Giggs's temper, before crawling into the back of the net while Ollie waterboarded De Gea with the assistance of US Navy SEALs and Mr Motivator was distracting the rodentine arms of Bruno Fernandes with the challenge of a 1.5lb kettlebell, it still wouldn't have undone a quarter of the horse shit we've had served up to us over the past 30 years courtesy of those corporate jizz stains and their cretinous band of biased officials.
