Obviously, some researcher had come up with the angle that there are a few ex Man City academy players in the PL and he trotted it out, but I wouldn't really expect a pundit to have detained knowledge of a players youth career. It's a throwaway comment really.Which Murphy have you watched? His problem, the same with others of his time is the bias towards the top 4-6 and his / BBC's reliance on playing for Liverpool so that means he knows more about football then others. Think Danny Murphy just hates Aston Villa and any praise is done through gritted teeth I disagree. In my view he's pretty balanced with whoever he's talking about. Appreciate his manner isn't for everyone though.

Have you listened to him on talksport? earlier in the season he couldn't give us the credit we deserved and basically wrote us a off, it's only recently he give us praise, fortunately we had Simon Jordan in our corner
