Who was the last really confident penalty taker we had who was actually our player (not on loan)? James Milner?

Ray Graydon.

Did Garry Parker ever take any for us? He rarely seemed to miss when he moved to Leicester

Scored penalties v Bozzy and Oakes in 96/97 and 97/98, both at Villa Park.

I'm sure he missed a couple, but I never thought that Benteke was going to miss.

Ray Graydon.

He missed a few though. 75 LC cup final and 2 in the centenary Game against Leeds standout. Great player for us though particularly 74/75

David Unsworth was the best penalty taker we ever signed.

You're probably right although when I asked the question the player I had in mind Dean Saunders and not because he scored them all but because he didn't.

Anyone else see Benrahma in Ollies ear just before the pen and then signalled to Keeper where he would put it - maybe last minute he changed his mind and then missed

If that's the case then he seems like a perfect West Ham signing as they seem - apart from maybe Rice - to be scummy cheating cloggers.

Yeah, clocked that from Benrahma. Between that and the graphic popping up in the bottom corner showing Watkins had missed a lot of his recent efforts, I wasn't convinced at all he would score.

any player who just puts the ball on the spot walks back to the edge of the box, runs up and puts his foot through it low and hard
That’s it it’s that simple

any player who dicks about trying to place it or pass it in ,does a hop skip and jump in the run up or anything pathetic to look good can fuck right off

Julian Dicks was one of the best penalty takers I've ever seen.  Every single one lashed with unstoppable force into the roof or side of the net.  Don't think he ever missed one.

Le Tiss scored 48/49 so that must be best record of anyone in last 30 years in top flight.

Good quiz question, who was the goalkeeper who spolied the record?
