A draw sends us top as well. If we do go top it wil be for the first time since Aug 2011.
October 27th 2001?

We technically went top of the league for a day after beating Blackburn in August 2011.

A but nervous because every time we have played Leeds since were relegated Leeds have managed to bully us and have known it.

Eh? They had 1 good half in 8 against us.

It was feared he'd be out until December, now back in a month. He won't play. And if he did, at best it'd stop a hiding becoming a whupping.

October 27th 2001?

A 3-2 home win against Bolton. Took a girl from my history class at uni to that game. She was lovely (and a Birmingham lass) and half way through the second half pointed out that her dad would kill her if he knew she was here with me. I turned round to her and said 'he doesn't even know me'. She said 'it doesn't matter, we are all Bluenoses'.

It got a few chuckles in the Lower Holte from those around us.

It feels so completely wrong to be going into the Game with confidence.

To keep up my perfect prediction record ...a Leeds win.

They will throw the kitchen sink at us.  But we will settle into the game and kick their ass.

There's no one in their team that really worries me, and without Phillips I think out midfield will boss them.

If Patrick Bamford is the kitchen sink, it's a shitty avocado green one that's been used in a farmer's field to feed cattle.

The thing with Leeds is you can’t let them impose their game on you. If you stop that you go a long way to beating them. It’ll be a hard game no doubt.

That's their strength, they function as a team rather than relying on individuals. They're highly drilled and organised. I can see them playing 3 at the back with 5 in midfield and limiting us to any space in their final third. My guess is they're planning for a draw. Phillips is a big loss and they'll need to move a few players around as they're also missing a full back.

Jack has to get into Ayling early and get him yellow carded.

I’m assuming he’ll be the nominated Leeds assassin for tonight. It seems like everyone we play has someone out to smash Jack at every opportunity. It’s worse that the refs seem to give them three or four hits before doing anything (same in the championship too).

Talk of Ayling being shifted over to the left tonight as they rejig their defence.
